The Emctest's laboratory tests Conducted Immunity: whose purpose is the verification of immunity of equipment, single apparatuses or systems to the perturbations induced by electromagnetic fields to the radiofrequency on connection or power cables, on signal and grounding lines.
The test in the anechoic chamber is performed by placing the EUT on a table made of insulating material whose height is indicated by the provisions of the applicable standard. The EUT is connected via CDN (coupling/decoupling network) to the generator and to the amplifier. The measurement is carried out using appropriate software.
However, we are often asked to carry out EMC tests, conducted immunity tests on site. Due to our mobile laboratory our technicians perform the tests directly at the customer's location, if the requested sample is large and difficult to handle.
The reference standard is the EN 61000-4-6 deals with immunity, electrical and electronic equipment, electromagnetic disturbances coming from radiofrequency (RF) transmitters with frequency range from 0.15 to 230MHz.
